- 600g Calamari
- 1 Mgħarfa żejt taż-żebbuġa
- 2, chopped Onions
- Finely chopped Fresh Garlic
- 1 tsp Three Hills Kunserva (tomato paste)
- 400g Polpa tal-Mayor
- 100ml Dry White Wine
- 100ml Fish Stock Cube
- 100g Black Olives
- Ħabaq
- Nagħniegħ
- Bżar
- 225g Tuna Dip
- 100g Breadcrumbs
- Tursin
Clean the calamari. In a bowl mix together the filling ingredients and stuff the calamari with the mixture, closing them with toothpicks. In a pan, heat the olive oil and gently fry the calamari. Add the chopped onion and garlic, the Three Hills Kunserva, the Mayor Tomato Pulp and the wine and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and season with pepper to taste. Simmer for around 30 minutes.
