Ingredients

  • 1, large White Onion
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Carrots
  • 4 Bacon Rashers
  • 800g Minced Meat
  • Pinto's Pride Worcester Sauce
  • 1/2 tspn Curry Powder
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • 710g Mayor Sugu
  • 2 cans of 400g each Mayor Sugu (tomato sauce)
  • 2 cans 410g each Mayor Zalza Bolognese
  • 2 tbsp Three Hills Kunserva (tomato paste)
  • 1 can Corned Beef
  • 1 can 300g drained Mayor Processed Peas
  • Rigatoni Pasta
  • 500g Hanini Irkotta
  • 6 Eggs
  • Short Crust Pastry
This recipe covers 3 dishes. In a pan, fry the onion and garlic and then add the diced carrots and bacon strips and let cook until soft. Add the minced meat, the Worcester sauce, curry powder and some pepper. Cook until the meat is well cooked. Add the tomato juices and Mayor Bolognese Sauce and let simmer for around 20 minutes on low flame. Add the Kunserva, the corned beef and processed peas. In the meantime, cook the pasta according to instructions on packet. In a bowl mix the ricotta with the eggs. Mix the cooked, drained pasta with the meat sauce and the ricotta mixture. Open the pasty and place in well-greased dishes. For this recipe 3 dishes are needed. Divide the mixture in separate dishes and cook in hot oven. Recipe by Margaret Serpina
