Sweet & Sour Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4, cut into cubes Chicken Breasts
  • 75g Cornflour
  • 1, chopped Red Capsicum
  • 1, chopped Green Capsicum
  • 1/2, chopped Onion
  • 170g Sugar
  • 120ml White Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Pinto's Pride Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 6 tbsp Mayor Ketchup
  • Noodles
Prepare the sauce by mixing the sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt and ketchup into a medium saucepan. Stir and bring to boil. In a glass mix together the corn flour and the water until well blended and corn flour has dissolved with no lumps. Turn the saucepan to low heat and add the cornflower mix. Stir until sauce has thickened. Prepare the chicken by putting it in a large bag together with the corn flour and shake until chicken is coated. In a large skillet drizzle the oil, add the chicken and sauté over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add the peppers and onion and continue to stir until chicken has cooked through. Add the sauce to the chicken and toss to coat well. Serve warm with cooked desired noodles.
