Rice with Curry

  • 1/2 can Mayor Diced Onions
  • 2, chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 3 rashers Bacon
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • 400g Minced Beef
  • 2 tspn Pinto's Pride Worcester Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Three Hills Kunserva (tomato paste)
  • 1 jar Pinto's Pride Curry Sauce
  • Natural Yogurt
  • 1 can, drained Mayor Processed Peas
  • 300g Basmati Rice
  • 3 Boiled Eggs
In a medium sized pan, cook the Mayor Diced onions, and then add the garlic, bacon, pepper and the minced meat. Add the Worcester Sauce and cook until meat is tender. Add the Kunserva and the Pinto Curry Sauce and cook for around 5 minutes. Mix the yogurt, drain the Processed Peas and top up. Let simmer on a very low flame. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, cook the basmati rice and eggs. Serve the sauce either mixed with the cooked rice or at the side. Add the boiled eggs and decorate with some coriander leaves.
