Marinated Beef Pitas

Ingredients

  • 900g 1-minute Steak Beef
  • 8 Pita Pockets
  • 200g, shredded Lettuce Leaves
  • 4, sliced Tomatoes
  • 5 tbsp Mayor Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp, fresh & finely chopped Chives
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 60ml Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Pinto's Pride Soy Sauce
  • 2, finely chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2, cooked and finely choopped Onion
  • 1 tbsp, grated Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Chicken Stock
  • Salt & Pepper
Cut the beef into squares and put inside a plastic bag together with all the marinade ingredients which include the honey, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic cloves, cooked onion, ginger, brown sugar, chicken stock, salt and pepper.
