Ingredients

  • 900g, minced Beef Sirloin
  • 1/2, grated Onion
  • 1 tbsp Mayor BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Pinto's Pride Worcester Sauce
  • 4, finely chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 6 Sesame Sprinkled Buns
  • 6 slices Low Fat Cheese
  • 1, sliced Onion
  • 2, sliced Tomatoes
  • Lettuce Leaves
  • Olive Oil
In a large bowl mix well all the patty ingredients. In your hands, mould 6 round balls and flatten until 1/2 inch thick. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least 4 hrs. Heat some olive oil in a skillet and cook the patties, 2 minutes on each side at a time until cooked through and have that nice golden brown colour. Place patties on a non stick oven tray. Place the cheese slices on top of each patty and put in a preheated oven until cheese starts to melt. Take out of oven immediately. Cut the buns in half and sprinkle with olive oil, place in the warm but switched off oven until lightly toasted. Remove from oven. Place lettuce, tomatoes, patties and onion rings and serve warm with fries.
